Program
The 3 Strings is on between 5pm and 7pm every Thursday on 97.1fm, 3MDR in Melbourne. The music selection is mainly alternative rock music but also offers some other varieties of music like swing, hip hop and strange Tibetan chants.
Generally, the presenters Nick, DAP! And Jess talk absolute rubbish, but they also have there own weekly segments like “Ad of the Week” and the 6 O’clock Weather with Nick. Every now and then, the show will have segments that last for a few weeks.
Sometimes the 3 Strings have guests on the show. Regulars on the show include Fisherman Bill, Doctor Love and Santa. The Strings also have occasional interviews with local bands and celebrities.
Overall The 3 Strings is one tangled up show. Enjoy it!
